Meet Dr. Finney
Jennifer Finney, DDS
Dr. Jennifer Drummond Finney is a proud Alexandria, La native and is excited to be serving her hometown community. She is a 1999 graduate of Holy Savior Menard Central High School. She went on to graduate Cum Laude from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Sociology. She attended Louisiana State University School of Dentistry, where she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery.
Already knowing her passion for treating children, she received the Predoctoral Student Award for Outstanding Promise in the Field of Pediatric Dentistry. She went on to complete her Pediatric Dentistry training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center and Children’s Hospital in New Orleans. She became a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2010. Dr. Jennifer was 1 of 18 pediatric dentists nationwide to be awarded the Richard C. Pugh award for scoring in the top 3% on the Qualifying Exam for Pediatric Dentists.
In her free time, Dr. Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband Sam, daughter Traxtyn and son Colton. She also enjoys exercising, traveling, being involved in community activities and watching her daughter’s softball games!
